Scrum is essentially the art of applying industrial-era conveyor belt methodologies to software development, and it’s becoming more and more apparent that it’s not a great fit. While it may give managers, and perhaps even more junior developers the grip they think they need on the development process, it’s vastly detrimental to those with slightly more experience or creativity.

Sorry to hear you feel you chose the wrong career path, but if you do, perhaps it’s a good idea to pick up a different line of work and keep coding as a hobby — it’s what I’ve done.
