Hi Oscar, thank you for your elaborate explanation. Your description makes a lot of sense to me, it’s how one would want to work. What frustrates me is — as you mention in the last paragraph — there are so many broken implementations of Scrum out there to the point where I haven’t seen a properly functioning implementation in years.

You are right it is unfair to blame Scrum, but it’s getting to the point where the broken implementations (at least in my experience) are outnumbering the working implementations by such a margin that it’s becoming increasingly vague what Scrum actually should be.
