… but story points are not part of Scrum. You still need to estimate, but you can t-shirt size, etc. I am however, a fan of delivering small chunks of work as part of a feature — it’s much easier to code review, test and deliver.

It’s possible that whatever places you worked at didn’t really understand Scrum.
